When I was 15 years old, I took my first flight across the Atlantic to join my aunt’s family on a drive through Europe. I was there to help mind my three young cousins, but I enjoyed ever minute of my journey. Our two months on the road was the start of a love affair with travelling.
Later, when my career path veered to business journalism I dabbled in travel writing for the National Post, a national newspaper in Canada, where I was a business editor. Recently, I embarked on a new journey — that of a freelance travel writer. But not everything a writer experiences ends up in print.
On my web page I will share both my published articles and the stories left untold.
